I have seen bobcat scat near the Eno in Durham a few times while walking in the woods. If a cat doesnt want to you to see it...you wont....

My wife just returned from an AT hike from Allen Gap, NC to Devils Fork Gap, NC and ran across a definitive large cat track the size of her palm on the trail on the 3rd day. My adult daughter also saw the track and there were others that were not as well defined near by but similar. When she returned she looked up mountain lion tracks and is positive that the tracks are identical to the one she saw. The hike was 8/7-10/2013.
