Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all you folks that answered questions regarding your area. The town of Clayton, and summerlynn specifically, were suggested by some of you all as Ive been asking for advice on relocating (from Albuquerque) over the last couple months. Well, things moved along rather more quicjkly than we imagined it would and we close on a house in summerlynn on Nov 30! We loved the houses, the area, and the schools. We'll be out again this Sunday for a walk thru Thanks to all of you, Lauren, and Toodie I remember specifically, and many more. See ya soon neighbor!

Welcome to Clayton. We live in GlenRidge, right next door to you. We walked through some of the models at Summerlyn last Sunday on the way home from Church. They are very nice. Are you looking for a church. We go to New Beginnings in Clayton. It is a non-denominational and we love it. Our Pastors live right down off 42 across from the Food Lion. The Church is located on 42 WEST on Lee Court right across from the Spirit Gas Station at the corner of Guy Rd. and 42W. Would love to have you visit. We have services Sundays at 10:30am.

Well...what amde us pick Clayton over some other areas (even though it will be a longer commute for my husband) was a combination of things. Primarily the schools. Most other places we looked had maybe some good elementaries but not so good high schools, or they were far away. We need elemtary, middle and high schools for out kids so that was important. Plus the house seemed liked a great value...if we closed before Nov 30, its 45,000 off! The town itself seemed the right size for us...the nieghborhood seemed to already have kiddos running around. And we didnt have as much time as we would have liked to make more visits and check more areas....so it fit the bill!
