(And yes, I did at one time actually have one of those!)

Is that your photo? Copyright and all.

It is hilarious, though.

I had one of those.

Do we need a C-D meetup in the Apple Store line?

Nah, my job required I be at work at 5:30 this morning where I am typing this, but at 3AM I woke up, fired up the Apple store app on my iPad and 5 minutes later I had two 32Gig 5S phones on order with estimated ship date of 1-3 business days. I waited this long to upgrade, whats a few more days.

Yeah. I still see 1-3 days online for the size I need. I'm taking a day off today, so I think I'll go over to the store and have a look.

I'd say about 120 here in line at Southpoint.

A friend of mine just posted on Facebook that he is at a best buy in Cary and there are two (2) people in line.

I don't even own a smartphone of any kind so I am fascinated by people who wait in line for this stuff.

Best Buy didn't seem to have anything I wanted. I checked their online inventory.

ETA: You don't have a smartphone? Fascinating!

That's not bad - probably that many last year or more (line wrapped from door around the side of the building, through the little walkway areas and almost into the parking lot) and it moved pretty quickly, surprisingly. Most people get their phone and move on, 2min in the store. Hopefully it will move quickly for you!

So there IS another person in the universe who hasn't succumbed! I thought it was just me

I am ashamed to say I am almost embarrassed when I use my old-fashioned phone n public and people look at me like whoa what is that?!? Lol

Line was wrapped all the way around the side, back, and other side to Restoration Hardware by launch time.

Southpoint had exactly 1 of each capacity of AT&T gold and silver. They were all gone by the 5th customer...I got the silver 64 GB one as the 4th customer. Not sure about gold and silver stock for other carriers.
