Publix at least the 3 or 4 I've been too are really well managed, very well stocked and very well thought out. They have a massive prepared foods section and everything is just a cut above to me. I've frequented them in the Atlanta area and have yet to run into a run down one. Yet there prices are a bit cheaper than Harris Teeter I believe in my travels.

I love, love, love Publix. My dad's family is from Florida, so I've been visiting my entire life and always loved shopping at Publix. It's a great store.

This tract of land has sat idle for 20 years, ever since Creedmoor Rd and Leesville Rd (as it was called at the time) were widened. I don't know that the city needs yet another grocery store there, but no one has been able to come up with a better idea for how to use the land - and it's not because developers haven't tried. Every 5 years or so, there has been a proposal to develop the tract.
