Hello!

I know that Payday loans have been banned in NC, but I know loan places still exist - just under new rules.
So if anyone knows of any legitimate places near Zebulon, I'd be super appreciative.....it's very important.

TY =)

Ummm. I do not think any of those are legitimate.

Well I know there's a loan place off Capital BLVD in Raleigh, NC, unless it disappeared over the last 6 months(that's about how long it's been since I've been over there)....across from CookOut. I just don't wanna drive all the all the way into Raleigh if I don't have to.

Good luck. Those types of loans are illegal.

I don't think that there are any "new rules" that would make payday loans legal. I think what you're referring to is the check cashing store.

If you need cash fast and are not looking for a traditional loan, have you considered a pawn shop? Or even simply asking your employer for an advance?

Yeah you're right, it is a check cashing store! Gah =\
Nope, I don't have anything to pawn that's worth what we need outside of my laptop, which I need for school.

The advance the employer won't work, they're a-holes to put it nicely. Thanks so much for trying to help though

Yeah, sorry. I know some employers do that. Where I work, they let the hourly employees "cash out" some of their vacation.

Maybe try the "personal finance" or "frugal living" forums for some options? Sorry I don't have any other ideas but maybe they can help you there.

Hope everything works out for you.

Try a personal loan from a finance company, maybe? If this is indeed urgent and you have no other alternatives.
