It doesn't get much colder then this until January (if then)...so waiting for cold weather seems a bit odd to me.

The Christmas parade is always early...it's the start of the shopping season pretty much....if you wait until two weeks before Christmas, you've lost half of the season.

I recommend parking on one of side streets in the historic Cameron Park neighborhood. Then walk up to Hillsborough Street and pick your spot. In front of Char-Grill is our spot.

Boy, is that ever early. Salisbury used, many years ago, to have a really big parade the Wed before Thanksgiving. That seems about right.

Looked pretty cheesy, but I guess that is part of a parade!

What time is a reasonably good time to find such parking, UncleTupelo? And what time is a reasonably good time to grab that spot in front of Char-Grill?
