It is not unusual to have the a/c on one day and the heat the next and then a/c again this time of year. One kid is prone to feeling cold when the rest of us complain about it being hot so she wears a sweater or jacket in the house almost year round. I'm with you Vicki- if I need a/c or heat I do not hesitate to be comfortable. There are plenty of other places to try to economize.

Already had the heat on a day or two last week-or was it the week before?

I'm pretty sure mine will be on by tonight. It's already cold in here.

We turned on the heat this morning! Left it off while at work and turned it on when I got home from work. Keeping it set at 71 or 72 so it's not running often.

It's getting pretty cool at night and our windows have terrible heat leakage. However, I haven't really thought about turning the heat on yet. I'm sure if my wife were here, the heat would already be on.

I had to meet a client at 8 PM and on the way home, I turned the heat on IN MY CAR!

You cannot beat heated seats!

We're going into our second winter here after 25+ years in Phoenix. We 'feel' the cold much more quickly and deeply than the locals and the NE transplants.

I'm almost embarrassed to admit it, but we had our gas fireplace going tonight. Only for about 30 minutes.

I liked it.

Our new house is so air tight and well insulated that it has not gone below 72 degrees (that I have seen) yet. Who knows when the heat will automatically kick in. I have it set on all 3 zones to kick in at 67...so it could be a while.
