I've been using them since 2004 and have had zero problems with them. Got a car loan, credit card, checking/savings accounts, etc. there and never an issue.

Are the virtual tellers limited to the amount of cash for withdrawal as the atms?

I am not a fan of the virtual tellers. Other than that, no issues with CFCU.

Hate them. I had my mortgage with them as well as several other accounts and when I had some questions on my mortgage I made 4 phone calls and countless emails to never get a response. My auto loan also they would not respond to me about either when I did the online application (until I found the head of customer relations on LinkedIn). I took my business to another bank that knew what customer service was.

I banked with CFCU a few years ago and really found it to be a rather amateurish financial institution. Little real customer service - everything seemed to be built around a "self-service" mentality.

I refinanced my mortgage with Coastal a few years ago. The refi process was long and painful and I'm sure it's only gotten worse with stricter credit requirements. I really disliked the virtual teller experience the few times I went into the branch. I find their online banking/bill pay cumbersome. So, I don't use them for any of my banking other than my mortgage.

We have used them since summer of 2006. We only have checking and savings accts (no mortgage or loans) and have never had a problem.

Yeah, that's how they seem to me as well.

I closed all of my accounts with Coastal a few years ago (my membership dated from the 1970s). As mentioned above, I too think that they are a bunch of amateur bunglers. Moreover, I really dislike the sterile, self-service attitude.
