I'm looking for feedback on this Cary restaurant. Has anyone here been there? Need a place that can accommodate an old curmudgeon with mobility issues and a lack of patience....is service attentive and are there stairs to contend with?

No stairs, it is good, and the service is good

It's actually a great place for bitter old folks - when they see the menu light up it will make their night.

Overall, food is good, I feel like it was better when it first opened, but good.

I've had to arrange for dinners like this. No fun. But I've found that calling the restaurant ahead of time and tactfully explaining the mobility issues really helps. And, if your a good phone person, you can develope a relationship with whomever you are speaking with at the restaurant, and explain the curmudgeon, his impatience, etc. With adequate warning, restaurants can adjustand if they do, tip better than usual, thank them profusely, and post positive comments on yelp, stc.

Chef's Pallette is nice and should accommodate your needs. It's pricey; a special-occasion-only restaurant for us. BTW they have a very nice Thanksgiving buffett; we just made our reservation for that yesterday.

You don't sound like a curmudgeon.

Please let us know how it was. The one time I went there I was a little disappointed (especially considering the price) but I would like to give it another chance.
