Say I wanted to get ~100 free books that I'm never going to read.... (it's not a bookburning )
Any suggestions around Raleigh/Durham?

Thanks!

Default Do they need to be hard cover?

If not, how about phone books?

Or garage sales?

Or contact the scrap exchange in Durham and let them know you're looking. . .. they probably get piles of books that they don't know what to do with? You could ask them to accumulate some for you for a few bucks.

Is time a factor?

Weren't you looking for books to decorate with? Reader's Corner on Hillsborough St has tons of books on the porch for 25 cents each. SOme of them are old and classy looking.

This isn't going to help but it's a thought I had. In my urbex trips especially the abandoned
schools I come across there are thousands of books left behind that could be used today? There
was a school in West Virginia that the entire library was left behind with shelves full of books. Any
explorer worth anything will never take something but it does make me wonder why some things
were not saved? Just a random thought...

Wake County library book sale is this weekend. On Sunday you can get a box of books for cheap--I've read $3 one place and $5 in another. Not free but close.
