I know some. I don't really hang out with them often, but I am friendly with all of them.

I would recognize them all if I ran into them at Walmart or something, but we don't socialize (ever).

Poll option not provided: I know some of my neighbors and we hang out quite a lot in the evenings/weekends while the kids play.

We're pretty close with *some* of our immediate neighbors, We do hang out often, have cookouts, block parties, poker nights, guys biking club, camping trips etc.
But that's about 5 families/houses on our street. Others we know but due to age differences, don't really hang out (we know them from the pool or from school etc).

I know most of my immediate neighbors. However, I hang out with my friends in the neighborhood, most of whom are not my immediate neighbors. We went trick or treating on the other side of the neighborhood, for instance.

When we do get together for a neighborhood function (Oktoberfest, 4th of July, Winter holiday thing) everyone has a good time.

I know some - I wish we all socialized more. We all talk about socializing more, but we rarely do. I wish we had more common areas to just hang out after work. My neighborhood has a lot of friendly, interesting people - but the only common area is the playground.
