Hi all, I'm in the market for my first place. I work in Morrisville, off of Airport Blvd. I have been looking at Kitts Creek townhomes, about which there is considerable data here (though not much on the THs). However, I can't find anything about Ambergate Station in Apex.

Ambergate is 9 mi from work, but will take about the same amount of time as KC (3 mi) when I factor the traffic on Chapel Hill Rd. I know location makes up the bulk of the 100,000 dollar difference, and there is also no garage at Ambergate. What I don't know is anything else about Ambergate.

Anyone here familiar with this community? How is life in Apex? Are the schools great?

That neighborhood is actually the Villages of Apex right? If you search the forum I think you'll find quite a few threads on it. Most folks seem to think the proximity to the railroad tracks is a big turnoff, but otherwise I think it seems great myself.
