Are the dogs usually on leash at Raven Rock?
I have a very confusing semi-reactive dog who doesn't take well to off-leash dogs running up to her ... the confusing part figures in because she seems very friendly at first, and her threshold is basically right at her face. So she may seem welcoming, prompting calls of "My dog is friendly!" - but when they get in her face, my dog is not so friendly. Anyway, I've run into so many off leash dogs on trails that i don't take my dog on trails that often anymore. I don't want to take the thread off topic (sorry all) but would like to know generally what people have experienced - thanks!
On a side note, my dog and I took a day trip to Wrightsville Beach yesterday - long drive for a day trip, 2.5 hours each way from Durham. But, it was lovely and worth it
