erineieio,

Can't recommend any. I did look at Cort furniture rentals once - they sell off previously rented furniture but at the cost, it seemed like I was better off buying new. But do check it out in case they have something worth it.

Btw,

Did you check out http://www.foliageconcepts.com? You were planning to last year, as per your post. Was it worth it?

Thanks, we'll check them out. Got a great dining table last night (thanks to Craig's List). I'm dreading hitting the retail furniture stores one weekend, but living room furniture is all that is left to find.

I still haven't made it to that plant sale, can't ever remember to look at the date for the next one until it's too late Has anyone else been?

If you're looking for unique used and/or antique pieces, there is a new place downtown called the Purple Armchair on West St. across from Ornamentea. We went and checked it out for fun while perusing the Handmade Market a couple weekends ago. I'm not sure what the prices were like, and I don't know anything about antique furniture, but they had some very unique and interesting pieces.

Just realized this is an old thread but....

I found a great web site that maps out all the local yard sales.
It will even give you directions to go from one to another..
