Does anyone know of any charity Santa photo taking events in the Triangle between now and Christmas? My husband suddenly changed his mind on having our one year old's photo taken with Santa. As much as I want to stand in line forever at the mall and overpay for a picture, I'd rather that money go to a good cause at least.

I don't know of any for-charity Santas, but we were at University Mall in Chapel Hill yesterday and Santa was bored. The mall is always slow, and if you go there at least you shouldn't have to wait in line for a visit (unlike Southpoint. Which regularly has hour+ lines.)

My friends told me about Santa being at Bruegger's at North Hills. Free to take your own pictures with Santa and no lines. He's there noon to 3 pm Sat and Sun.
