They're putting up the Waffle House on Roxboro/Avondale faster than the Popeye's on Guess Rd.

I went from NC-147 South to 15-501 South and almost rolled the damn SUV over the first time I came through there. I have to commute through there since my PCP is at Duke Primary Care on Pickett Road.

(In case anybody is wondering why I'm driving roughly 70 miles to see a PCP, the healthcare, among nearly everything else in Danville, is absolutely terrible and has one of the worst hospitals in Virginia despite being supposedly affiliated with Duke. To give a brief description of Danville, picture Fayetteville without Fort Bragg and a population of about 43,000. There ya go.)

Totally feel ya there, lol. I always have to remind myself as well when it starts getting cooler in the mornings to drop my speed to a near crawl. I nearly spun out there once as that same exit builds an icy patch during the winter months.

Someone in the DOT needs a slap to the head for that boondoggle. The guardrail there has seen better days and has obviously been smashed into more times than one can count.

Speaking of DOT, I dislike having to navigate through the gauntlet of poorly synced traffic signals on Erwin. What's even worse is that it seems like they put another one up every two or three years.

And yes, 15-501's condensed cloverleaf interchange at 147.

Perspective!
When I leave the hockey arena on Friday night, I will take my sweater off because it is too warm outside.
But, other than that, it is Southern Comfort Cold....

Correction: And yes, 15-501's condensed cloverleaf interchange at 147 is pretty tight.

Dames is finally opened in Cary and I am very happy about that, now all I need is for H-Mart to stop dragging its feet.
