Logger Ct. office spaces were very popular years ago. Last time I went by there it was starting to show some age.

Let's see:

The Wicker Gallery - Glenwood Ave
Norwalk Furniture - Glenwood Ave
Furniture Concept - Hillsborough St
Cary Towne Furniture - Cary Towne Blvd

All within the last year or two. Cary Towne Furniture didn't even last five years.

Happy New Year! I went to Paris but not on the direct flight. On the "fly everywhere else first" route.

If there weren't any plans to turn it into a limited access highway, than the parcel on the Southwest corner of Chapel Hill Blvd and Garrett Rd would have made a great spot for Sheetz.

While we're on the subject of 15-501, I would love to see Southern States Volkswagen relocate and a smaller North Hills or even Cameron Village type development go on that underutilized swath of land (Southern States VW, Former University GM Superstore, Former Boston Market and adjacent restaurant, Former Regency Plaza). I remember University Marketplace was proposed for that area, but it looks as if the plans for that fell through.

Perhaps with the Wegman's going in just down the street that whole area there will see some revitalization.

I know that area is planned for a light rail station, which could lead to terrific development, but who knows if or when it will happen? I'd love to see something there (but not yet another auto dealer)
