I'm enjoying the recent warmer days.. but I have to admit I already miss the fall and it's not even officially spring yet. Sheesh! I want to break the Halloween and fall decorations back out and eat candy corn.. 247 days till Halloween ..

P. S. Yes I know I am a dork!

I have a neighbor who practices his bowhunting on a big fake target deer. He places it just in from the property line, so that if he misses the deer the arrow goes on or through my yard. Should I venture in that part of the yard, I risk being felled by an arrow. He previously put the big fake target deer IN my yard, and after I moved it, he left a somewhat threatening note that led to me calling the police and the police reminding him that it's not legal to do this in his yard.

Seeing as calling the authorities was no help, I am soon going to place a large metal barrier there, so that if an arrow misses the deer it will deflect back at him.

Taking my dog to the fairgrounds flea market today. This is for fun purposes as well as training. She gets over-excited around crowds and tables of things.

We may be there for five minutes.

Ooh - I may need to get some peanuts.

I love that they allow dogs there. I won't take my dog to the indoors part, that's just a little much for her. The outside part will be good, though.

You should go for it! The outside part should definitely be good. I bet there will be a good crowd up there today, too. So, it should be a good test for her.

Ode to the day after 70 degrees.

Sun rose to warm the days air.
Spring was poking its head out of my daffodils,
Grass was greening up as if freshly painted.
Squirrels were in direct competition with the spring birds in the feeder.
Its Sunday!
Closing act of the weekend!

Monday....UGH!
Monday out of bed still dark.
Monday start of work week.
Monday's high was when I left the house, 50 degrees.
Monday PM rain, sleet, snow....UGH!
Monday sets....

Tuesday....not here yet so there is still hope!
