WRAL just has some of the worst "news" writers for their website. Had to click on this headline:

LOCAL NEWS
Durham Planetarium to host viewing of 'one of the most prolific meteor showers of the year'

I thought, does Durham have a planetarium now? Have I missed something? Noooooo...it's just Morehead in Chapel Hill doing an event at West Point on the Eno. Such sloppy journalism. It's really embarrassing.

I can't tell if it actually happened or I am conflating two separate events, where the Raleigh Planetarium hosted one of the local orchestras playing Holst's The Planets.

Someone pointed out to me this isn’t a winter storm.
It’s a “Fall†storm since winter hasn’t even arrived yet.
That makes it even cooler for me! 👍

I was offered a ticket to that game....but I was in Las Vegas.....so upset I didn't get to go.

And yes I'm always in favor of Dick Vitale being told to shut up. Had I been there.....I would have happily obliged.
