For a mix of affordability and quality, I really liked the HomeComfort outlet store. We got a beautiful Ashley sectional for about half the price of sectionals at other stores on Glenwood.

Furnitureland South in Jamestown NC. . . about an hour away. We've bought all of our living, dining, and master br furniture there.

Best furniture store will depend on your budget. Personally I would check Sams Club, Costco, and BJ's. They have a very small selection and it changes often, but their prices are typically much cheaper than any other store. Just bought a sectional for $900 at Sams Club that would have been $2,000+ anywhere else.

Be sure you do yourself a favor and stay away from the junk at Rooms to Go. You are better off buying a used quality piece than buying an inferior new piece at RTG. Also always try to buy local and definitely made in the USA.

If you need a mattress always buy new. I recommend Original Mattress Factory.
