Considering a move from Southern California to Raleigh- need some advice!

I do understand CA weather has changed for the worse with a long drought in the future.

Just because home prices are lower, you may not come out financially ahead since salaries in many fields run low here.

Its been raining the past couple days, so we'll see if that alleviates it any. But I agree for the OP to visit, especially in the winter or summer so you would get to experience the extremes. Everyone is different, and some of the people who post on C-D are realtors..fyi

Most of the realtors have realtor badges beside their names. If they do not, they aren't allowed to state that they are realtors. None of the realtors are allowed to send people messages unless they have specifically requested to be contacted by realtors.
