My Channels
"Carolinas, your new channel lineup is coming."

Seems like they just changed it.

Weird - the site has my location as Cary NC (close enough) but the banner I get says "New England, your new channel lineup in coming soon."

Edit: Never mind. Refreshing the page brought up the Carolinas banner.

WRAL (channel 5) goes from 1105 to 1209
WTVD (channel 11) goes from 1111 to 1200

Makes perfect sense to me.

But does it matter? If as they say the box will always tune to HD if you have that service, can't we just use the single digit channel assignments (e.g, 5 and 6 on my system)?

Yes, if you have a TWC-provided set top box and if you have the feature turned on that will always bring up the HD channel when you enter the number for an analog channel.

But that's not the case for people who are running CableCard without a TWC-provided set top box.

Jeez. No gain whatsoever, just a shuffle. I've finally got the channels memorized and now it'll all change.
