Thanks everyone for the replies, we appreciate it!

I'm getting our first estimate today, will get at least three, maybe four. Keep the recs coming... and I'll post about the results after all is said and done.

YES! We had a few sweet gums by the pool and it's heavenly to be rid of them. They don't feel good on bare feet.

We had to have the crane due to logistics so I was glad they were so professional. Everyone wants "cheap" but when the men are out there with heavy equipment and your house is at risk, you start thinking of "best qualified" instead.

Please let us know if you liked any of the companies who gave you estimates & how the work went. I really need my trees pruned but am so worried about someone coming in & wanting to remove them or inadvertently killing them by pruning incorrectly. Info about your experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Are you saying Leaf and Limb had none listed or on staff? The main webpage lists 5 and their IDs. I still highly recommend them.
