Thanks for the info. I checked some of these clubs online but it seems like they offer lessons only in summer?
I was looking for something year around not just summer.

I have friends whose kids swim year-round for RSA - they love it (their kids do swim at meets, but I think that RSA offers general lessons, as well http://www.swimrsa.org/Home.jsp?team=ncrsa). I believe they're in the process of constructing/modifying a new pool.
Aside: I love the word 'debubble' to refer to removing the tent after the winter. There's just something about that word.

We take our kids to Lifetime Fitness in Regency Park. Though we're no longer members, we still take our kids there - it's an additional $10/month for non-members (flex membership), I think. Except for Christmas-New Years, I believe they have classes year round. Some of my friends take their kids to O2 fitness.

Maybe try the Aqua tots and see how it goes? My son goes to a place similar in Oregon (he's 4) and even though there are tons of kids in the pool their lessons are amazing for the young kids they're geared at. He's learning pretty quickly for 30m of pool time a week.

Good luck on finding something that's a good fit!

If I were you I would do aqua tots for now and then arrange some private lessons at your community pool once it's open. I've had great results with college students teaching my kids at our community pool.
