It wont stop a bear, but I can bet anyone shot by one is not going to enjoy it. Or a small pocket gun chambered in 380. Look up the flashbang holster for women. There are options.

Nah. I just hate carrying a gun around all the time. It's a me thing. I have had a variety of gun purses, holsters, etc. Just never cared for it. I have owned 5 different handguns, from a couple lightweight J-frame revolvers (.22 and .38) to 3 semi-autos (Glock 36, Glock 40, Beretta Tomcat).
That .22 was very lightweight and easily concealable and I hated carrying it as much as the Glock 40 I had.
I just don't really wanna carry one around. That was my conclusion after many guns and many holsters.
I'm not keen on guns much. I mean, I am not afraid of them and they don't freak me out. I know how to handle one. I just have personal reasons for not wanting them in my house any more, I reckon.
