I have read some fantastic stuff about Borja Day Spa but if you are buying a gift certificate I would not recommend it. My fiance bought me a gift certificate from them for 'A Day at the Spa' for my birthday in May 2008. Unfortunately a few weeks later he was notified that the company he worked for was leaving NC and we would have to relocate out of state (VA). At the time my mind was not on a day at the spa but rather moving/packing/selling our things, our budget and obtaining new jobs. I called Borja to inquire if they would offer a refund on the gc but they said they would not. I did not know anybody in the area to give the certificate to and so now I still have the gc in a file cabinet - unused. I feel that Borja could have been a little more forgiving with their refund policy given the circumstances.
LOL. The OP was from 2007. I sure hope she still isn't waiting to find a spa!
