Hi I recently relocated to Raleigh four mths ago and still job searchng. However, I have taken this job search so seriously that I have not taken the time to have a nice time. I have found all the great Malls such as; North Hills, and Crab Tree but I have not enjoyed any of the night life. I am 49 years of age so I don't want to go to a place where it's predominantly for college people. What are the nice places to go for singles? I enjoy jazz clubs, a nice bar, the movies, a play all sorts of entertainment.

All suggestions welcome and Happy Holiday.

I might suggest some of the places on Glenwood South (Raleigh) that skew a little older...

Maybe:
Mosaic Wine Bar
Rockford (restaurant/bar)
Amra's (jazz bar)

Those are few off the top of my head, and all a close walk from one another.

Explore Glenwood South and Warehouse neighborhoods of downtown Raleigh. There are tons of options from which to choose.
