(1) find a new partner that understands give and take and is willing alternate days on the bad side or
(2) is willing to pay to fix the issue so you don't have to live with it
I see too many people getting crapped on by their partner these days, don't put up with that mess.
We have a 3-car garage, but our driveway entry starts as a single car, of course. My husband deliberately chose the side with the largest angle backing out. My space is directly in the middle. The one for the kids is on the side nearest the door.
His logic: he's better at parking and he doesn't want everyone walking past his car.
Bonus for me: mine is closest to our L2 charger.

I'm not sure I could do paving stones. My HOA gets kind of picky. And the storm drain might prevent me from modifying the driveway. For now, I'm just going to have to be careful backing out. I wish there was something you could attach to the side of your car to let you see the ground on both sides of your vehicle. LOL

I don't understand which side is the problem..
If your right mirror tilts down then the problem side is the drivers side ??
Either way you should be able to see the driveway on the drivers side
and then stay near that edge as you back down..
Looking out the back window is the easiest way to judge where you are in my opinion..
Or go to WalMart or CarQuest or somewhere and get one of those little parabolic mirrors that you can adhere to your rear view mirror. They help to line up and see the ground....

I find it's easier to line up the front between the two garages.
To answer a lot of questions, I should say that this problem all started after my partner tried to get me to change how I was pulling out. He thought he knew better. When I went back to my way, and watched the mirrors I do much better. Lesson is to not listen to your spouse!!
Would backing into the driveway make things any easier for you? We have a high driveway entrance off the street curb so we back in to prevent dragging the lower front end on the driveway which happens if you pull in front first and then back out. I always have to warn visitors of this so they don't unknowingly tear up the front end of their cars....unless they're unwanted visitors!
