Default Where can I go to hear Live Christmas Music in the Triangle?

Can be either instrumental, Christmas Carolers or something like a Choir.

Any suggestions?

Many churches host free Christmas cantatas, where non-member community folks are welcome guests, during this season. We'll be at Church of the Good Shepherd in Durham this Sunday evening.

I am scouring the N & O for community Christmas activities. Last weekend, we were thrilled to attend a live performance of The Messiah at Duke Chapel and tour the Carolina Inn's exibit of "The Twelve Days of Christmas." Last night, we attended the Christmas concert of the award winning Leesville HS--you'd NEVER guess it was a HS band by the amazing quality of the performance. Nothing like listening to wonderful Christmas music to get you in the holiday spirit!

I don't know your tastes, but I'd recommend checking out the N & O web page for offerings in your area.

One of my friends will be performing, so my husband and I will be there. We've been to one of their concerts before and it was lovely.

As a general rule, there are two good websites to bookmark for concert info:

TriangleSings! - the online resource for choral music information and activities in the Triangle area of North Carolina (NC)

Classical Voice of North Carolina

These are kept well-updated.
