I know this has probably been asked a bunch of times here, but I'm wondering if anyone can give me a recommendation of a contractor(s) that would be willing to basically suck all of the leaves, pine needles, sweet gum balls, pine cones, etc out of my back yard. I have about a .25 lot and with half the back yard and all of the front and sides clear I probably only have about at most .10 of an acre to clear. I have already cut down all the little bushes and trees, but I really need all the other junk basically just sucked up and hauled out. I would do it myself, but with all the stuff going on for me and my wife right now...it would just be too much.

The reason I need to do this is because my dog is now at the Vet with a possible snake bite to her mouth/tongue area and her tongue has a huge black spot on it and has swollen up. Her leg also is beginning to swell and the Vet bill is going to be outragous, not to mention the pain and suffering to my dog . I have 2 dogs and now my wife and I are afraid to let them out back until we get the rest of our yard cleared. I've never seen a snake in my yard before and I'm not scared of them, but for my dogs sake I need to get all the debris cleared out of my back yard and probably lay down grass.

Sorry for the long post, but if anyone could recommend a contractor that has like a leaf pickup vacuum or can remove this stuff some other way at a reasonable price then I would love to get your recommendations. I live in NW Raleigh near Leesville Rd. and I-540.

Thanks!

I would look in the yellow pages and call a landscaping company. That is probably your best bet. Maybe post a ad on craigslist for what you are looking for. We hve used Jay's Landscaping in the past to clear some of our lot.
