A friend is visiting who has fallen in love with wool felting.

Anyone know of a shop in the area that sells wool for felting?

I would telephone the closest yarn shops. Many knitters have branched out to felting. I have also bought some samples of wool through a mail order firm.

Stopped by today. What a great store. Thanks for the recommendation. Love the way they sit you down at the table and show you how to do things.

This store has the best staff I have run across in any store. The where things were, knew how to do things, were efficient and friendly.

I've never seen customer service like this before. Any chance these women were the owners?

Thanks. I'd forgotten about the Scrap Exchange. I've never seen wool for felting there before, but have found a lot of other good craft material.
