Come to Garner July 3rd at Lake Benson Park! They have the NC Symphony play and then fireworks. Absolutely the best fireworks in Wake County. Great family atmosphere and just a wonderful relaxing time. Many places to park around town and ride the shuttle in works best so you don't have to fight traffic getting out.

Can anyone tell me where in Brier Creek the fireworks are located? We were hoping they would be visible from the Kohls area (better to exit for us). Thanks!
Nothing says the real America better than celebrating the 4th in a mega strip mall. It's almost poetic.
Haha, exactly. I've never understood the strip mall parking lot setup for 4th of July. Wouldn't you rather kick back picnic style in a grassy park? Or have a seat in a stadium? We'll be going to the Koka Booth Ampitheater in Cary.
Downtown "The Works" schedule is out now. Seems like a lot going on again this year, and of course two fireworks, one on Fayetteville St and the other over the Amphitheater. Don't understand why they just don't make a huge one over Amphitheater only, so everyone can see.

They say it will be visible from both sides of the Brier Creek shopping areas, not specific about the other side of 70 (Wal Mart/Kohls). We've never been, so I have no idea, but I was doing research in case our local Wake Forest fireworks (July 3) are cancelled due to rain.
The Brier Creek fireworks have moved around a bit as the construction activity covers more ground. If they are the same location as last year you can see them from Brierdale as as well Brier Creek as the link notes, just be mobile if possible as there are some trees that can get in the way. Last year we were roughly in front of Earth Fare in Brierdale and the fireworks were directionally over Tasu to give you a bearing.
FWIW- I would expect the best local fireworks display to be at the DBAP on July 3rd.
I've been to the Brier Creek fireworks at Brierdale (down near Earth Fare) as well as Brier Creek (between Target & the cinema). Both offered excellent views of the firewooks. I would recommend getting to either location early and doing a bit of "tailgating", as parking can get challenging as it gets later.
Am I the only one that misses the fairgrounds fireworks??
Probably not, but that ship has sailed.
