Just heard via Andrea Weigl of the N&O on twitter that Cary will get a 2nd Whole Foods by 2016. The 40,000 sq-foot building store will be located at Alston Town Center.

This makes me very happy too! We needed a Whole Foods or a Trader Joe's out here in West Cary. Fantastic news.

Thanks for the link. It is great news for the 40,000 West Cary residents sitting out in the boondocks and it will be interesting who the other tenants of Alstom Town Center will be. Let's hope it will be similar in style to Lafayette Village in North Raleigh.

All we need now is the Green Level / Okelly Chappel traffic light to be operational before 2016 when Whole Foods opens. It was suggested that maybe the Town of Cary are waiting until Christmas so that the traffic light will be the West Cary Christmas Lights courtesy of the ToC as they haven't done much yet over here.

Let's hope it has more parking than Lafayette Village!
