I have a few laying hens in Cary and I'd like to find a more economical source for feed. I've been buying at either Ace or Tractor supply, but I can't help but think there must be a feed mill somewhere nearby that would have better prices than a retail store.

Does anyone have suggestions for where I can buy chicken feed, other than Ace or Tractor Supply Co?

Agri Supply in Garner. Call or check on-line for prices.

Well, there is a Agrisupply store in Garner, but that is yet another retail location. They could have bigger bags of feed that are a better value. Of course, driving from Cary to Garner to acquire it would probably negate whatever savings you would receive.

Carpenter Farm Supply. They've been selling it there since the 1880's.
