Does anyone know any information about the condos at Cedar Hills. Why are so many of them up for sale right now? I am looking in North Raleigh for a new home below 150k to start building some equity and wanted something above the belt line between glenwood and capital and I liked the location of these. However, I'm a little worried about the fact that at least 4 of the condos are for sale.

BTW: My first post - hello City Data forums!

Actually, there are currently 9 Cedar Hills condos listed on MLS, with one of the 9 "Temporarily off the Market."

It sure is a great location. That number of units For Sale there is not unusual. They tend to turn over, since they are located well and low-priced.

Cedar Hills condos are amazingly located by being on the Northern fringes of what is currently considered "Midtown". I have wondered if, with all the teardown activity and upgrading of adjacent neighborhoods, Cedar Hills residents would begin to renovate and improve the properties to reflect what is going on around them. In the meantime, the condos sure prove to be an excellent opportunity for those making less than the average income to own in one of the red hot areas of the city. The Falls Condos on Falls of Neuse Rd. also offer that same sort of opportunity.

Any thought on these condos nearly 10 years later? Considering buying but have a baby. Is it safe?
