Has anyone heard about the proposed Apex site. Are they building yet? What is the planned opening date?

According to ... Costco Locations | Addicted To Costco! ... the opening date is (unofficially) December 2015.

Recent chat with a mgr (from Apex!) at Raleigh store said May 2015 was current target.

Prediction: Their cafe will be packed with kids wanting a cheap lunch during school.

Their returns policy is FANTASTIC and they keep their employees!!

(My K-cup brewer is always new.)

If they haven't started cutting trees already, May 2015 is not happening. When it was announced, they said end of 2015 as was mentioned.

It's why I let my Durham Costco membership lapse. I really just can't bear the lines and navigating through those aisles with those crowds. I've been to larger Costcos than the Durham one and hope the Apex one is larger, for everyone's sake

The Durham Costco feels more crowded, especially with regard to parking. The Raleigh one is much better, imho. Hopefully the Apex one will be large and spacious. :-)
