Hear i come!
Just moved from nj to ga and i hate it, crime, unfriendly and nasty people,and god awful traffic, the people are always warm in nc lookin in the raleigh and durham area any suggestions, nice quiet areas but still stuff to do

Mr. Man,
What kind of stuff do you like to do? What do you want access too? There are lots of things going on in the Triangle. Giving some expamples of what you are looking for will help people give you sugestions on where to find them.
Are you retired or will you be working in the Triangle? Depending on your field of work and desired commute you may find certain areas of the Triangle more appealing than others.
If you can provide more details about your situation and what you are looking for I'm sure many of the great people on this board can give you some great suggestions.

ok sorry, that's out of my system now.
Anyways, I'm just curious...have you spent much time in the Triangle, because many pepple say it is very similar to Atlanta. Atlanta, Charlotte, and the Triangle are basically they alpha cities of the so-called "new south". They are very similar. I can see Atlanta havign worse traffic problems and therefore possibly less patient people; but is it really THAT different from the maor cities of NC?

I've been to the Raleigh/Durham area before and have alot of friends there but, the more info the better. I have a family and i want a better place to dwell trust me Atl is not the best for that, i'm open to job opportunities i have the most exp in security, any info on good areas or jobs is helpful thanks
