Hi. We're looking for an endocrinologist or some other type of doctor who can help with adrenal and thryoid issues for a young adult. We want someone who will look at symptoms in addition to lab results, and for someone who treats those whose lab results fall just inside the "normal" range. We prefer a doctor who is knowledgeable or at least open to more natural and holistic treatment, but who can also prescribe medicine. You may send recommendations via Direct Message if you don't want to post names on the open forum. Thank you!

Check out Dr. Yoo at Cary Endocrine. I went for years being told that nothing was wrong because lab results showed I was borderline fine with other doctors. Dr. Yoo took the time to really delve into my situation and after a lot of digging, diagnosed me with Hashimoto's. She won't stop trying to help. Love her

NEEDAVACATION, do you mind if I tag along on your quest for that thyroid/adrenal dr? I have exactly the same needs. I will be moving to the Chapel Hill area very soon, but willing to travel, if necessary.
