I voted in Apex yesterday. I figured I would go on the first day and beat the crowd. Apparently, everyone else had the same idea. Looks like there will be a heavy turnout for this election.
It will be interesting to see which of the 19 candidates wins the Court of Appeals seat. I asked a lawyer friend for input on that one.
Whom did your attorney friend recommend and why? For the purposes of not allowing legal dynasties to develop--without any other knowledge--I usually vote out incumbent judges. . .
I find the first day of early voting to be crowded. Monday or Tuesday of next week will have not have as many people voting. I love early voting and try my best to take advantage of it each election.
Just voted in Apex this morning. Didn't realize it didn't open until 11am and got there about 10:40am and was 4th in line. In, voted, and out by 11:15am.

So as not to influence the outcome, I won't say the name. I think this seat is the one that is being vacated, so there is not an incumbent to vote out.
Has anyone on here done curbside voting? I just had surgery, so I'm trying to avoid a long line. If pulled up for me to do curbside, will Hubby get to do it to? Or will he have to park and go in?
Get out there folks cause Tillis and Berger are running this Great State into the ground in a short period of time. We can save it but be proactive and get involved.

Technically your husband would have to go inside to vote. However, if he just says he can't go in either due to some issue, the poll worker will let him vote curbside too.
