Right now it's 5 deg. here in Michigan. Looking forward to the balmy weather when I get back into Raleigh this weekend. Not to be your nanny, but be sure and keep a little stream of water running through your faucets tonight kids. Frozen water pipes are zero fun...

Days like this are when it is nice to have a fenced in back yard!

This is nothing compared to last winter in Chicago. I'm a cold weather person anyway so it doesn't bother me at all. I hope we get a good snow this year.

I guess it's not that bad, as I came across the usual shorts-wearing guys this morning, not to mention a commuter bicyclist at 6:35am.

It was cold at the bus stop early this AM, but not windy and I find that makes all the difference. If it windy in these temps, it's brutal.

I wore shorts to work today, like I do every day throughout the year regardless of temp, so it wasn't that cold.

Nothing compared to when I lived and worked in Antarctica and got to experience -40 F without the wind and -81 F with the wind, now that was a wee bit chilly!
