I got to Wilmington in just under 2.5 from Durham. Much of I-40 from Raleigh to Wilmington is 70 mph, so it makes for a pretty quick trip.

I can get from North Raleigh to Southport/Oak Island in 2 hours and 40 minutes!

And soon, I'll be heading back to North Raleigh from Southport/Oak Island and it won't be nearly as much fun!!! All good things must end...or so hubby says.

Happy Easter!

Vicki

Last week of March wife and I were in Nags Head up 12 into Kill Devils Hill. Made it in about 3 hours from Zebulon. Even in the mist and clouds it was a great trip. Stopped at Awful Aurthur's for a great seafood lunch before heading back around through Elizabeth City (scenic route) and by Coinjock where we HAD to stop at the GRAVE DIGGERS diner. Next time we will have to take the grand kids to see the monster truck.
