I'm building in Bowling Green in Wake Forest. I have lived in the Wake Forest area for over 15 years and seen it grow from nothing into sprawling communities. Any of the communities listed so far are great and convenient to just about everything.

You will find that homes range anywhere from $200k in the "new" outskirts to $6M in Wakefield (I remember when Wakefield was just cows, LOL ).

I absolutely love Sunset Ridge and Sunset Oaks in Holly Springs!! I'm very partial to Holly Springs, myself, but also would rate Apex very highly...

Good luck with your move!

I give Sunset Ridge in Holly Springs my vote as well, been here about 2 1/2 years, haven't regretted the decision for a moment

I have heard the Oaks of Advent Ferry is an excellent community. It's a smaller development (270 single family homes) but lots of mature trees, good size lots, walking distance to cultural center/library and has community center with a pool. My wife and I tried to purchase house in this neighborhood last year and were out bid on a house that had only been on the market for 14 days! Its off Ballentine and the bypass.
