I've relocated to Durham from NY. In our opinion, we love the roads. Love how you can get to everything basically by interstate which saves a lot of time. Chapel Hill is awesome! There's a lot of convenient places to shop and go to close by compared to Long Island. Nice scenery. The people here are nice and neighbors actually say hi. Cons...horrible organization of DMV, separate DMV places for license and plates. Missed a job interview because of the 2 hour wait time. Walmart is not really cheap...We haven't really gotten out to do much since we just unpacked everything. Looking forward to going out more.

Welcome to the area! DMV here is definitely from the 80s. Don't shop at Walmart :-) Give your local farmers market a shot.

Welcome to Durham! Don't go to the grocery store today, it's insane.

Good pizza: Randy's.

Durham has fabulous eateries, enjoy exploring!
