Hi all,

Looking to move into a 2BR townhome or apartment in Chapel Hill or West Durham along 40 (will be working at UNC Hospitals). I know there's a ton of new construction that has gone on on the past few years, so I wanted to see where the current luxury apartment complexes or townhomes now are. Looking to move around June.

Thanks for your help!

Thanks so much! Anyone else have any other suggestions? Cosgrove Hill, Chapel Watch, and Chapel Hill North all seem to be under same management. Anyone else notice that?

How about selected places in Meadowmont or Southern Village?

The apartments at Southern Village are pretty average - nothing special. I don't know about any townhomes there.

I live in Southern Village. There are apartments that are rentals. And there are condos and townhomes that have individual owners but that are sometimes rented out. The neighborhood is upscale but as CHTransplant said the apartments seem pretty average. Some of the townhomes are brick and are pretty nice. Others (like the yellow ones by the pool) are less fancy. If you have any questions about Southern Village, feel free to ask me; I have lived here for 3 years.
