Girls softball in Wake Forest (Rolesville: kids, town, baseball)

I have four girls interested in softball. They played last year before we moved and really enjoyed it. They are all athletic, and played well, and would like to play again (they also weren't super-stars . I am looking for a program that is challenging, but not super competitive. My 6 year old would prefer to have coach-pitch, and not t-ball style. So far I have found a program through the Town of Wake Forest, but there aren't alot of program details.

Anyone out there have any experience with the Wake Forest softball program, or recommendations for different Spring softball?

It is my understanding that girls cannot play actual "softball" with all girls until age 9 in W.F. Kids ages 7-8 play "coach pitch" which is co-ed. I have 7 year olds who would love to play "coach pitch SOFTBALL" with other girls. they are not interested in playing baseball with boys at this age. Rolesville has a league but they have closed their registration at this point i think. (2/26/09)
