I am from NY and still don't understand the term Yankee. What does it mean? I was born, raised in NY. Am I a Yankee?

49% yankee, but I played around after getting my score and a lot of the terms they have listed equaled to all over the US. I dont think those count either way.

I did this one before, How Massachusetts are you?
and I got 91%

Yan·kee (yngk)

2. A native or inhabitant of a northern U.S. state, especially a Union soldier during the Civil War.

Just found this site and moving back South- just waiting for UNC to let me know if i got in (if not heading back to VA)... Anyways, i scored 94%... Although i use soda more now than Coke. Yes, tag sale is definitely a CT term- moved up here 6 years ago and had no clue as to what that was for some time.
