Terramor Homes has a few new homes on the far side of Cameron Pond for sale. All just under 700k.

I'd call them a regional builder. You could buy one of those immediately and be in a large community that is already established. You might make Lake Boone in 20 minutes from there. Might be closer to 30. Schools are excellent.

New construction in your price range-might be an inventory home in there for you. Pool under construction.

Is there some sort of hidden rule that states we have to abuse posters who ask questions we consider to be repetitive? I always assume that when someone starts a thread like this they've already searched for what they're looking for and haven't quite found it yet. Having been new on here once long ago and also looking for guidance from the locals I always try and avoid the written eye roll

And to the original poster, start with the Mike Jaquish recommendation. He may not be right but he's been right enough over the years to trust his advice.

I don't get this either. As if it's just taking up their precious time.

And Gawd forbid those that don't specify every particular detail imaginable. Sometimes folks don't even know what to specify or don't know what they don't know.

Oh, and of course there's a special place in hell for those that post here but should have gone on another forum...

These don't get anywhere near 700K do they? The largest homes they have (with basements included) were around 500K last I checked? Also with that sort of budget am sure OP can do better?

Kudos to FC for offering a choice at the low end of the budget!

Indeed
Perhaps it was just my dislike for that particular community showing through

The OP has only offered location and price. Quality standards are minimal.

I didn't see anyone abusing the poster for asking repetitive questions. I did see the OP getting riled over being asked clarifying questions. Some folks might be fine tossing out random ideas. I prefer to make sure I know what someone really wants before I make a recommendation.

I've seen people post in here saying they want a house in Apex, only to have people start suggesting Wake Forest, which is hell and gone from Apex.
