Yesterday, I was told by a friend whose friend will operate a restaurant in the H-Mart food court that H-Mart had finally passed all the inspections. H-Mart told them to move in on Oct. 18. So I suppose the opening of H-Mart itself can't be too far from Oct. 18. The wait is finally over!

Good news!
Besides what's listed in this thread, do you have any intel about what restaurants are going into the food court?

AFAIK, a Japanese restaurant, a Korean restaurant, a Korean fast food restaurant, a Korean Chinese restaurant, and more...

I was in the neighborhood, so stopped at Hmart to peer inside. It sure doesn't look like it is opening anytime soon. The place is still an unfinished construction zone inside. Large construction boxes piled up everywhere. Didn't look like any painting or flooring has been done.

Yeah, I went by maybe 3 weeks ago, and was told that they wouldn't be opened until 2 months or so, which means some time next month or early December.

I haven't driven right up to it lately but saw last week they still have a few storage containers out in the front lot.

Oh I know. I'd expect that shortly before the opening they will get pulled out of there so that would be something to watch out for.
