Not yet. I'm sticking with my old gas guzzling 2001, 2002, and 2003 cars for now. All paid off, low tax value, and nobody gives them a second look. Just how I like it.

We needed a new vehicle and were actually looking at getting a new VW Golf TDI to replace the one I drove that got totaled by someone who swerved into my lane (luckily no one but the car was hurt), but the new TDIs are not compatible with biodiesel which is what we have run on for years. Then this Leaf popped up on our radar at such a great price and such low mileage that we thought, why not!? I think the range will be doubling soon (maybe by 2017) on mid-priced EVs and we may get another one then. I'd love to have a Tesla Model 3. (Would love to have a Model S, too, but that ain't happening.) Nissan and Chevy both have 200 mile range batteries in the works.
