Does anyone have any experience with companies that specialize in composite decking?

Ideally what I'm looking for is who you went with, how the results are holding up X years later, any thing you would have done differently or researched better, that sort of thing. Photos of course are great for help describing the cope of the project if you're comfortable with it.

Thanks in advance for any experiences you can share, even things like you chose to avoid a certain contractor for cost or other reasons, or if you decided against composite materials and went wood, etc.

We built a deck/stairs off our screened porch about five years ago. Fairly shaded so really wanted to avoid the mold problems that the wood flour based composite products can have. We compared Trex, Timbertech and a few others. We decided on Timbertech (capped composite) as it had the best appearance - the Trex product at the time was shiny which looked very fake. We used the 20' long T&G deck boards with the hidden fasteners so we have no "joints". Very clean looking install and holds up well. Note these are "low maintenance" products - I do wash it off with a deck cleaning product once or twice a year. Rails also Timbertech with powder coated black aluminum "Deckorators" balusters.
While (very) expensive compared to pressure treated wood, the boards maintain their shape and never need paint or stain. We would definitely use these again.
